The evening covers laminitis case presentation, managing insulin levels and diet. The lectures will be held via teams on the 3rd June at 7pm.
- Professor Andy Durham will take us through new approaches to avoiding laminitis through insulin management and guide us on how to keep horses safe all year round. Including exposing some myths and providing insights into recent research.
- Ambulatory vet, Isabelle Goodey, talks us through how active cases of laminitis may present, how they are managed and the road to a successful recovery.
- Julie Potier will discuss feeding horses the right way, giving a practical approach to managing their individual requirements, including take-home points on how to choose and ration feeds.
