Daniel Christie

BA VetMB MRCVS

Associate

Danny is originally from Morayshire in the Northeast of Scotland but now lives in Hampshire. He graduated from St. Catharine’s College, University of Cambridge in 2020. During his veterinary degree, he undertook an intercalated year focusing on embryology and foetal/placental physiology.

After graduating, Danny completed a 12-month internship at a busy practice in Berkshire with a focus on sport horses and pleasure horses. He subsequently stayed at this practice for another four years as an ambulatory vet. During this time, he developed a keen interest in diagnostic imaging, lameness investigations, as well as taking a leading role in much of the stud work.

Danny recently attended the ARVS Casualty Management Seminar in order to train as a racetrack veterinary surgeon. He is also looking forward to completing a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice with a focus on diagnostic imaging.

Outside of work, Danny is often found in the garden or kitchen. His remaining free time is usually spent trying to keep his two ferrets, Mango and Moxley out of trouble!
