Sara Vaux

BVetMed (Hons) CertAVP (ELDT) MRCVS

Associate

Sara graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2013. Following an internship in the Equine Hospital at The Royal Veterinary College, Sara worked at a solely equine ambulatory practice in Hampshire for 7 and a half years before joining the LEH in January 2022. Sara enjoys all aspects of equine veterinary work, with a particular interest in orthopaedics and sports horse medicine. She completed her RCVS certificate in Equine Lameness Diagnosis and Therapeutics in September 2022 and has undergone additional training to perform acupuncture as an adjunctive treatment for cases on the road. Sara is also an Official Veterinarian for exports, and is working towards becoming a Racecourse Veterinary Surgeon.

Outside of work, Sara loves hitting the gym as well as walking her little Spanish rescue dog Jordan and cycling around the roads of Surrey and Hampshire. She competed her horse in British Dressage throughout her childhood and played polo at university, so is hoping to get back in the saddle one day!
