Due to a change in circumstances an opportunity has arisen for a first class receptionist/administrator, ideally with equine knowledge, to join the Practice as part of the hospital reception team.
The team are responsible for providing a friendly, efficient and caring service and are the first point of contact for incoming enquiries from referring veterinary surgeons and clients. The role will involve a great deal of time on the telephone and candidates must have an excellent telephone manner and an exemplary attitude to customer service combined with the ability to stay calm under pressure. The successful candidate will be computer literate, very well organised and comfortable working in a busy office environment and as part of a small team. Experience of horses is definitely preferred but experience within a veterinary practice is not essential.
The role is based in our state of the art equine hospital in Liphook, Hampshire. Due to the rural location of the practice own transport is essential. This is a permanent full time position working Monday to Friday plus Saturday mornings on a rotas basis. A competitive salary will be offered commensurate with experience.
