Tom graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2003. He worked in mixed practice in Cumbria for 2 years before spending 2 years working as a locum in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
He joined the Liphook Equine Hospital in 2008 as a housevet for 18 months and at the end of this time stayed on as part of the ambulatory team. In January 2016, he achieved the RCVS certificate in Equine Dentistry and he is currently a EVDC resident in Equine Dentistry. Tom regularly contributes to the teaching of dentistry to colleagues at CPD events, and is on the committee of the Equine Veterinary Dental Association.
In his spare time, Tom enjoys spending time with his family, playing football and cycling.
