Andrew graduated from The University of Edinburgh in 2017 and started working in a mixed equine and farm practice in Lancashire. He then joined the Liphook Equine Hospital completing the 18-month House Vet position. Following this he worked in a local equine ambulatory practice in Surrey before his surgical interests took him to The University of Liverpool where he worked for 6 months as a locum surgical resident. Andrew returned to the Liphook Equine Hospital in 2022 as a surgical resident and is currently working towards his ECVS diploma in Equine Surgery. Andrew enjoys all surgery but his predominant interest is orthopaedic surgery with a particular interest in arthroscopy and tenoscopy. He has published in several areas including digital flexor tendon sheath tenoscopy and cervical spinal nerve injection techniques.
In his spare time he enjoys staying active and is a keen cyclist and skier.
