First and foremost because the care of your clients’ horse, pony or donkey is the most important thing to us. Our hospital clinicians are recognised specialists in their field and are dedicated to providing your clients’ animals with the very best treatment and care.

Our nursing team is probably the largest equine nursing team in the UK. Many of them have specialist nursing qualifications in equine nursing. We could cut costs by employing fewer nurses but we recognise that the quality of the nursing team plays a huge part in the overall care your clients’ animals get.

Our large equine hospital has recently been rebuilt and provides advanced facilities with stabling for up to 50 horses, intensive care units, large ménage and dedicated trot up and lunging areas, large fully equipped surgery suite, advanced equine diagnostic imaging equipment including digital radiography and ultrasonography, scintigraphy and magnetic resonance imaging. There is also a large designated equine laboratory on site enabling us to perform rapid clinical pathology.

We will support you with readily available advice on cases even if they are not referred, free verbal reporting of radiographs and educational resources such as a regular CPD programme, a regular newsletter and downloadable information sheets on our website. We are very happy for you to visit us and we welcome colleagues who want to ‘see practice’.
